Winter Solstice: a ceremonial moment throughout centuries

This blog is a reflection about the winter solstice at the ancient Irish burial site at Newgrange. During the first long winter of Covid restrictions, the winter solstice at Newgrange was streamed online.  It was profoundly comforting for me to experience the solstice like never before. The feeling of connection to the ceremonies and generations of the past reminded me how life endures beyond our own lifetimes.
